Hi, I’ve just been made aware of something and thought everyone who has a flat roof that needs refelting
should be made aware of it.

Simply the best way to have it done is with 3 layers not 2 layers so if you’re getting quotes for 2 layers beaware that reputable roofers will cost the same but do a better job than the bodgers.

Always get a couple of quotes and never go for someone who knocks at your door that you can not confirm the identity of. (yellow pages is not always an identity proof, just check watch dog)

I’ll give you an example My friend does roofing and has done for years. Ross Barton 07963268127 RJB Roofing Colchester based roofer who repairs aswell as renews
Ross will charge approx 140 a day compare that to bogus callers who will normally charge between 200-350 a day and do a shoddy job..
A Proper Roofing job for reboarding and refelting 15″ by 9″ garage roof should cost approx £900 and includes materials and 3 layers of felt(not two). Plus you will get a 10 year guarantee

Hope this has been Usefull
Regards for Now

It’s AAA complete myth that you can make a washing machine ozone friendly and environmental and Give it
a tripple A (AAA) rating or even a C rating. then give it to a human being!

I’ll Explain, washing machines with the correct load may be A efficiency, but who knows or if they do know who bothers to follow manufacturer guidelines when it comes to loading a machine.
Most people are in such a hurry they just ram the drum full of clothes, then force the door closed.

overloading the drum
will shorten the life span of your machine by upto 50% or more
you will strain the drum, drum support, bearings
and you will draw more power through the motor
thus wearing that out too.
The average machine can last between 5-7years
but we as engineers are seeing machines being
distroyed within 2 years.
and this is mainly down too people overloading the machine.

Machines are meant to emulate going down to the local
stream and bashing your clothes up against the rocks
this works to push the soap through the clothes not sit on them.

if you overload the machine you’re not only killing the machine
but you’re not washing your clothes either.
You will see white marks on your black clothes.
this is very common powder mark, the effect of overloading.
hope this has been useful
warmest regards
